Support the Newark Senior Center
The Newark Senior Center (NSC) has more than a 40 year history in the Greater Newark area of offering activities and services to the 50+ community. It is the first and only senior center in the state of Delaware accredited by the National Institute of Senior Centers. The Newark Senior Center has been able to remain an independent nonprofit organization due to the generous support of its members and the local community. Thank you to the community members, businesses, corporations, foundations and others who have been an integral part of making the Newark Senior Center a tremendous community resource.

Throughout the years the mission of the Newark Senior Center has been enhanced by the generosity of members of our community. Led by current and past Board of Directors and staff members, many have taken the initiative to recognize the importance of the Center in their lives through a planned gift.
The Education Wing, the expansion of the Meals on Wheels Program, the addition of the Fitness Center and the lounge area were all made possible through legacy gifts from our members. As we look to the future, we hope that you too, will consider including the Center in your estate plan, helping us to continue with our mission of enhancing the lives of the 50+ community by providing resources and opportunities for growth in body, mind and spirit for many years to come.
The Newark Senior Center Legacy Society has been established to recognize those who have designated the Newark Senior Center with a legacy gift in their estate plan. Members of the NSC Legacy Society have joined by way of various planned giving instruments such as wills, IRA's, charitable trusts, life insurance, etc. or by making a contribution to the NSC Endowment Fund.
To notify the Senior Center about a planned gift that you have already established please complete this Legacy Society Enrollment Form and return it to Carla Grygiel, Executive Director or Jessica Snow, Development Coordinator. All inquiries are treated with complete confidence.
