All of our Instructors are professionally trained and are paid to teach.

Armchair Exercise
Mondays & Thursdays: 10:00am - 11:00am
Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 10:15am - 11:15am
Exercise is one of our defenses against many problems that are associated with aging. It improves flexibility and range of motion, improves muscle strength and helps protect joints. Bob White leads the video armchair exercise classes.

Balance Class
Wednesdays, 1:00pm

Linda Adams of Gentle Wellness 4 Life will teach
exercises to promote balance. With aging balance
ability usually diminishes which can cause deadly
falls. With simple & effective exercises our sense of
balance can be improved. Let Linda Adams teach
you how it can be done. This class should help you
incorporate the balance theory you learned in the
sense of balance that was previously conducted. But
you do not have to take the theory class to benefit
from the exercise.

Horseshoes
Fridays: 10:00am
Anyone interested please come and play. There are extra horseshoes available for use. Meet on the North side of the building at the horseshoe court. If you have your own horseshoes, the pits are available any time.

jazzercise Lite
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays: 8:45am - 9:45am
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5:40pm - 6:40pm

This low impact, modified version of the jazzercise Dance fitness program provides 60 minutes of warm up, cardio, strength and stretch.

Let's Dance
Thursdays: 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Enjoy our non-stop elegant ballroom dance music! Join us at "Let's Dance!" at the Senior Center Evergreen ballroom each week. Dancers, guests, listeners, beginners always welcome. And it's all free! Waltz, Rumba, Swing, Fox Trot, Tango, and more (and you do not need a partner for our six Line Dances). We currently average between 40 and 50 dancers each week.

Line Dance
(Beginners) Mondays: 12:45pm - 1:30pm &
                                    1:30pm - 2:00pm
Thursdays: 6:00pm - 7:00pm

For students who are new to line dancing, or would like to brush up on the basic dances. This class covers a variety of elements used in line dancing i.e. Vine Steps, Shuffle Steps, turns, the calls and more. This is a great first class to start out with and a great stepping stone to the other levels.

Pilates
Mondays: 11:30am - 12:30pm
Tuesdays & Fridays: 9:00am - 10:00am
Thursdays: 10:15am - 11:15am
Pilates is a system of exercises that emphasizes the strengthening of the abdominal, lower back, hips, inner/outer thighs, and toning your body. Notable results include improved posture, increased flexibility, stress reduction, more energy, balance, coordination. Wear comfortable clothing. Prior to class you will need to purchase a thick mat at K-Mart, Wal-Mart, or Sport stores.

Strong muscles help support and protect joints affected by arthritis, it increases bone density and burns calories for hours after you are finished.

Every week we share information on nutrition and activities to help us meet our goals. TOPS is a non-profit weight loss motivational group that provides support, encouragement and educational opportunities to make healthy, permanent lifestyle choices.

Zumba Gold
Mondays, 5:30pm
Zumba Gold is a series of fitness programs
specifically designed to take the exciting Latin and
International dance rhythms in the original Zumba
and bring them to the active older adult. Created to
emphasize the basics, this explosive program is so
easy to follow that everyone can do it! This fun
Latin inspired dance program includes Merengue,
Salsa, Cha Cha, Flamenco, Tango, Rock and Roll
and much more! Zumba Gold creates a party like
atmosphere. It is fun, different, easy, AND effective
– Great for the mind, body and soul!
