CHINESE HAND CRAFT
1st and 3rd Mondays (through June)

Come and enjoy doing various popular Chinese
Hand Crafts together. April: Paper Folding
(Origami) Pagoda; May: Knotting and Straw straw
shrimp in a knotted ring; June: Paper Triangle Fish.
We provide the necessary materials such as knotting
nylon yarn, artistic straws, paper and stepwise
procedural description with diagram. Do bring
your favorite small scissors. Two sessions were
planned to complete one subject to avoid feeling
rushed. We will also have discussions on how to
expand the artistic flavor of the subject we are
making. For example: How to mount or decorate a
straw dragon? Or how to present a pagoda?
No Cost. Please register at the Reception Desk.
KNITTING GROUP
2nd & 4th Wednesdays each month

The emphasis is on charity knitting for the Linus
Project, and on helping each other with our own
knitting projects and questions. Questions, call

No instructor for this class. Members are welcome
to come in and enjoy the art room and camaraderie
as they work on their own projects. No Cost.
ART WORKSHOPS
*All mediums are welcome
Registration is mandatory (no walk ins) and
required 48 hours in advance. Fees are due at
the time of registration. There is an 8 person
minimum. In the event that the class is cancelled
due to insufficient registration, registrants will be
notified, their fees will be refunded. Workshops are
open to all painters and mediums. Bring your own
supplies. Any questions about supplies will be
discussed at the first class or call Cynthia at

Learn to paint different types of water and their
reflections. Still water and rivers will be

Paint the beach, learn the summer color palette.
Paint dunes, ocean waves and seagulls.
